
Opt-In for SMS (Text) Messages
End users opt in by logging into their customer portal at https://portal.mynewera.net/ and turning on the “Receive SMS Messages” option, where they agree to receive recurring text messages from New Era Broadband. Alternatively, customers may opt in verbally by calling our office at (740) 992-0620 and requesting to be added to SMS messaging; staff read the SMS disclosure before adding the number.
Purpose of SMS Messages from New Era Broadband
New Era Broadband sends SMS messages regarding service outages, network maintenance, and important account information such as rejected payment transactions, office closures, etc.
Message frequency varies (typically no more than a few per month, plus messages any time network conditions warrant). Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for any purpose. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
